Accolay Pottery
The Potters of Accolay or the story of a great community adventure started in 1944 in Burgundy by a band of four friends all students of Alexander Kostanda. A first oven allows the manufacture of jewelry and ceramic buttons. In 1945, Christian Dior command 300 for his collection "New Look". This is the beginning of a success story that will end in 1983. For over 20 years, blooms Accolay a type of pottery that combines the diversity of objects - masks, jewelry, toys ... - and that of the materials - ceramics, glass, plant fibers ... - combining aestheticism and humor with "Zazou" .
