André Baud (1903-1986)
André Baud was one of the first potters to work in Vallauris. In the 1940s he was instrumental in the organisation of a number of exhibitions, in France and abroad, which promoted the work of Vallauris potters. His work is of high quality, sometimes glazed in matt glazes and decorated with colourful space age slip designs. He was very interested in space and astronomy.
