French ceramic pitcher Jacques Innocenti Vallauris 50s
Rare pitcher signed Jacques Innocenti in Vallauris, very refined decoration of black lines incised on a white enamel background. 1950s.
Very good condition, 2 tiny enamel chips on the neck (see photo).

Jacques Innocenti (1926 - 1958)
He studied at the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris. At the end of 1949, he began working with his parents, Odette Gourju and Lynba Naumovitch, at the "Grand Chêne" workshop. Then in 1952 he founded his own pottery and worked there until his death in 1958. He also created very beautiful engobe decorations on François Raty's unique pieces for the "Les Argonautes" workshop.
