Marius Bessone (1929-2001)
Between 1949 and 1954, he studied both industrial technique for architecture and ceramic decoration. He will open his own workshop where, from this moment he will test different processes such as crystallization, reliefs on brown tone and volcanic effects with lightly colored grids. He will participate in almost all the biennials of Vallauris as well as in prestigious exhibitions throughout France and Europe. He opened a workshop in Vallauris, with his wife Huguette, in 1954.
