LALIQUE René ( 1860-1945 )
Famous designer of jewels Art Nouveau, Lalique settles at the same time in 1890 a workshop of glass-making. In 1895, his perfume bottles enter the collections of the museum of the Decorative arts. In the 20s, Lalique turns to the Art deco and conjugates the luxury and the aestheticism to the everyday life by creating usual objects as vases, candlesticks, cups etc.. After his death in 1945, his son Marc pursues the adventure and start the crystal work. The "trademark" Lalique is always today the symbol of the creativity allied to the quality.
