Jean-Claude Novaro (1943-2014) Master glassmaker, born in 1943 in Antibes, he was trained by Eloi Monod in Biot where he created his own glass factory in 1977. Born inventor , an astonishing colorist, he continues to work on the reactions of glass against enamels, oxides, inclusions of gold and silver. Pure research that takes him always further in his creations, pieces as unexpected as they are unpublished. He is considered one of the greatest contemporary master glassmakers. Auctioneers and art critics compare it to Daum, Lalique or Marinot.
