Pol Chambost (1906-1983)
A trained sculptor, Pol Chambost chose clay as his plastic expression from the 1930s to the 1980s. A Parisian ceramist, he explored multiple facets of creation, from the unique object to the small series. As such, he is one of the spearheads of the Chambre Syndicale des Céramistes d'art de France. The curvilinear flights of his ceramics with their sensual, daring but also traditional visions, reveal to us the passion of an artist for beautiful, useful and decorative objects.
