Kosta Boda
The glass factory of Kosta Boda ( Sweden) was created by 1742, at first specialized in the lighting trade and the flat glass. Then the glassworkers started to blow the glass to make shaped pieces, under the impulse of the artist Edwin Ollers engaged by the firm in 1917. Among the designers we can quote Vicke Lindstrand, Bengt Edenfalk, Kjell Engman, Bertil Vallien. Many more designers are associated to this firm which continues to create original and famous pieces.
