Vallauris pitcher in earthenware signed Allix 50s, high neck, decoration of horizontal strips with multicoloured and geometrical motives on a white background. White enamels inside.
Allix (Michel Alexandrov) born in 1910
Graduate of the School of Decorative arts of Paris, he settles down to Vallauris in 1945 then to Golfe Juan. In 1955, he receives the silver medal in the international exhibition of ceramic in Cannes.
