Pottery "le Grand Chêne" ( 1948-1955 )
The factory " Le Grand chêne " created in the 19th century to Vallauris, was retaken in 1948 by the ceramists Odette Gourju and her husband Ljuba Naumovitch. This pottery owes its name to the big oak which was in front of the workshop. The logo of an oak appears as signature. The son of Odette Gourju, Jacques Innocenti, worked in this workshop from 1950 till 1952. The workshop closes in 1955 after the death of Odette Gourju and Ljuba Naumovitch.
